Redmond, WA Data-Linc Group, a leading manufacturer of industrial data communication solutions, is pleased to offer the SRM6200E wireless Ethernet radio modem with Smart Spectrum™ to its extensive product line.

The SRM62000E is a license-free, wireless Ethernet radio modem. A complete data communications solution, the SRM6200E is ideal for systems where cable installation is difficult or cost prohibitive. Without expensive Ethernet cabling, this highly reliable wireless alternative uses MAC layer bridging for true protocol transparency and fully supports TCP/IP-based protocols up to 15 miles away, with line-of-sight. The SRM6200E provides remote PLC programming and diagnostics, and wireless connectivity between corporate IS and control.

SRM6000 employs Data-Linc's Smart Spectrum wireless frequency hopping technology. Smart Spectrum is field proven to perform in high interference environments and does not require an FCC/DOC site license.

Based on the same robust RF technology as Data-Linc's SRM6000, the SRM6200E has extremely high data reliability, even in harsh environments. THE SRM6200E is an excellent communications choice for SCADA applications, including water/wastewater and oil/gas pipeline communications. Interface options include 10Base-T (UTP) and 10Base-FL (fiber) interface to the Ethernet device.
