July 1, 2011 Bellevue, Washington, USA — DATA-LINC GROUP announced the expansion of its support for international channels-to-market in Latin America by the appointment of Eduardo Giancristofaro as Latin American Regional Technical Sales Manager, based in SaoPaulo, Brazil. Mr. Giancristofaro comes to DATA-LINC with over 17 years of industrial automation, RF and PLC experience. Following graduation with an Electrical Engineering degree from Universidade Paulista in Brazil, he worked for Soft Control Automação Industrial Ltda, doing SCADA and PLC programming and later for Emulogic Automação Industrial Ltda as a System Integrator providing technical field support for end users, as well as supporting software development for PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.

In 2003 he entered the sales arena, working for a Brazilian automation industry distributor, AB-Tech Tecnologia e Automação Ltda, attending RF Technology Training at DATA-LINC GROUP in their Bellevue office. He later joined Prosoft performing both commercial and technical activities as their Brazil country manager with a focus on sales and marketing activities coordinated with technical support and administrative areas for pre and post sale activities including training.
