April 5, 2009 — Bellevue, Washington, USA —Data-Linc announced today it’s latest products release, the NET620 serial to Ethernet bridge.

Data-Linc’s advanced NET620 allows integration of serial connected devices into Ethernet networks without a complicated network interface. No special PLC configuration is needed to integrate DF1 or ModBus RTU devices into EtherNet/IP or ModBus TCP/IP networks. When used as a terminal server, any serial port redirect software will work. Configuring the NET620 is easy using either the supplied SetLinc utility software or a web browser. In most cases all that is needed is to set the IP address and the port speed.
