HSM800E Replaces FLC830E 2.4 GHz OFDM High-speed modem

Please note: We were notified by our vendor that effective March 2016, two major components required to build our FastLinc modems were no longer being produced and, despite an extensive global search, are not available anywhere. This was obviously frustrating news as our high-speed options using OFDM technology were a unique solution that filled a much needed demand. Our HSM800E, High Speed Modem, is also OFDM, offers a data rate of up to 300 Mbps, and is backward compatible with all of the legacy 2.4 GHz FLC FastLinc products.

The good news: The good news is that we have a reasonable quantity of FLC components set aside for warranty repair/replacements in order to support our installed base. The additional good news is the FLCs have proven to be ultra reliable, with a near zero repair record since the introduction nearly four years ago.

Support: Since Data-Linc now offers the HSM800E as an ultra reliable, high-speed OFDM option with a range up to 3 miles (6.4 km) and IP55 weatherproof rating, please contact us for any potential projects you may have with the need for high-speed or sufficient bandwidth for the transfer of large amounts of data. The HSM800E is the likely option. We will be happy to assist you and will advise you if we recommend the HSM800E for your specific installation, or not, and if not, what your best options is.
